스웨덴 화학물질청(KemI, Kemikalieinspektionen)은 특정 유해 화학제품의 판매 허가제도를 검토하였다. 화학물질청(KemI) 법률 책임담당자 Susanne Classon에 따르면, 가장 중요한 변화는 전문적(Professional) 판매 관련 허가 조건을 삭제하고, 신고와 정보제공으로 특정 유해화학제품의 판매허가 요건을 대체하는 것이다.
본 제안내용에 따르면, 특정 유해 화학제품을 판매 또는 기타 다른 방식으로 공급하는 사람은 누구든지 해당 지방자치단체에 이러한 활동내역을 알려야 하며, 제품의 위해성에 대한 정보를 문서화하고, 해당 관련 규정을 숙지하고 있는 대리인을 지정하여야 한다.



The Swedish Chemicals Agency (KemI) has made a review of Swedish regulations applicable to permits relating to the sale of particularly hazardous chemical products.

– The most significant change concerns the proposal to remove the permit requirement regarding professional sale and replace it with notification and knowledge requirements, says Legal Officer Susanne Classon of KemI.

The proposal means that anyone who sells or in any other way supplies particularly hazardous chemical products shall notify the activity to the municipality and appoint a responsible chemical representative, who must have documented knowledge about the risks with the products and be aware of applicable rules.
