스웨덴 화학물질청이(KemI) 스웨덴 정부에 제출한 보고서 따르면,
현재의 EU 화학물질 법령은 매우 포괄적이며, 지난 10년간 매우 광범위하게 개정되어왔음에도 불구하고 여전히 개선의 여지가 존재한다고 밝히고 있다.

스웨덴 화학물질청장 Nina Cromnier는, 본 보고서는 독성없는 일상 환경(toxic-free everyday environment)을 위한 화학물질청(KemI)의 연구에 굉장히 의미 있는 자료가 될 것이며, 앞으로 진행될 스웨덴의 화학물질 관리 연구에 크게 기여할 것이라고 밝혔다.




The EU legislation relating to chemicals is very comprehensive and has to a large extent been updated during the past decade. In spite of this, there are gaps and opportunities for improvement. This conclusion is made in a report presented by the Swedish Chemicals Agency (KemI) to the Swedish Government.

– The report will become very valuable to the Chemical Agencyʼs work on a toxic-free everyday environment, and I also consider it as an important contribution to Swedenʼs future work on international chemicals control, says Nina Cromnier, Director-General of the Swedish Chemicals Agency.
